Self-analysis

There are many things that happened during this module, some good to learn from and others, challenges to overcome.

Strengths

I managed to utilise and showcase my strengths in research and explanation in Assignment 1.

In Assignment 2, I could come up with and plan storyboards easily due to my strength in storytelling,

I used my skills in video editing to do my part in the group project, Assignment 3.

Weaknesses

I have big issues with procrastination, and this nearly caused my downfall in my assignments. I was thankfully able to complete them in time, but it was close.

Opportunities

I'm glad that this module had many areas that I could be creative in, like choosing my own research topic in Assignment 1 and coming up with my own stories/ video ideas in Assignment 2.

I also got to shine in Assignment 3, as video editing has been my hobby for a long time.

Threats

In Assignment 1, I struggled with choosing precedent studies, and wouldn't have done it right without input from my teacher.

Assignment 2 had to be worked on during the time of Chinese New Year celebrations, which meant I had less time to work on it.

I also had slight issues with connecting my stories to my precedent studies in Assignment 2 and my groupmates and I had a bit of trouble connecting our ideas properly in Assignment 3.

The video for Assignment 3 also took a long time to export, and it almost resulted in a late submission. We also struggled with aligning our schedules to call and discuss the group proposal and script.
